As a central agency, Treasury drives the Government’s plan to grow the Queensland economy and create jobs in line with the Government’s longer-term economic strategy.

Troocoo are in exclusive partnership with Queensland Treasury, to build their new Low Emissions Investment Partnership (LEIP) team.

The $520 million LEIP is an investment in Queensland's future as a high performing, low carbon economy.
The LEIP aims to fast track emissions reductions in support of Queensland's targets of:

a 30% emissions reduction on 2005 levels by 2030; and
net zero by 2050.

The LEIP will work closely with the state's largest emitting facilities to capitalise on collaborative opportunities to co-invest in projects to bring forward abatement of emissions.
The initial focus of the program will be to support decarbonisation of metallurgical or steel making coal production.
