About the Role:
As the Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, end-to-end payroll processing for over 3,000 employees across multiple entities. Working closely with the wider finance team, you’ll also provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members while contributing to process improvements and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll for 3,000+ employees across multiple entities
- Manage employee lifecycle updates including new hires, terminations, and changes
- Conduct fortnightly payroll runs, set up and reconcile superannuation contributions and ensure legislative compliance
- Complete post-payroll reporting and monthly reconciliations, support EOFY payroll processes and compliance
- Identify and drive payroll process improvements and automation opportunities
- Strong demonstrated as a Senior Payroll Officer in high-volume, end-to-end payroll processing
- Proficiency in Aurion prefferred, however other large Payroll software experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and legislative knowledge
- Team-focused mindset with the ability to work independently
