Are you a seasoned Cloud Engineer with a passion for driving innovation and excellence in cloud infrastructure? We're looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a cutting-edge Azure Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable cloud-based infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Migration Strategy: Lead the migration of existing systems and applications to the cloud.
• Technical Leadership: Guide projects with your expertise, ensuring successful implementation of cloud solutions.
• Security & Governance: Implement security measures and establish policies to ensure compliance and data protection.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for high performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaboration & Problem Resolution: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions and resolve technical issues.
• Mentorship: Train and mentor junior Cloud Engineers, enhancing the team's overall capabilities.
• Business Continuity & Risk Management: Support high availability, disaster recovery, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Financial Acumen: Collaborate with financial stakeholders to maximize the value of cloud resources.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or Cloud Operations, with a successful track record in Azure Cloud environments.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing enterprise-level cloud architectures.
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (BICEP, ARM, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI) and experience with Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security principles within cloud environments.
• Relevant Microsoft Cloud certifications are highly desirable.
