Troocoo has partnered with a market leader in the financial services industry, to find a skilled IT Platform Specialist to join the Operations and Enterprise Services Division. In this role you will play a pivotal role in providing essential support and maintenance for their core Physical IT infrastructure across a range of project initiatives and BAU requirements.
Reporting into the ICT Manager, your main focus will be bringing your strong skillset in HyperV to assist with their VMWare migration, as well as strong broad experience in the IT Infrastructure space to provide value to the business's large pipeline of projects and BAU environment.
In this role the IT Platform Specialist will have:
- Experience with managing virtualised infrastructure within multiple data centres. Specifically, Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware experience.
- Experienced with deploying and managing server operating systems (Windows Server 2016 & 2019 and Linux Red Hat).
- Experienced in Powershell scripting and automation.
- Experienced in Networking, Security and SAN Storage.
- Knowledge in the administration of monitoring solutions such as New Relic and Splunk.
- Level 3 troubleshooting for incidents of server infrastructure
- Experienced in managing patch deployment automation.
- Experienced in managing Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS, Exchange and SQL.
