Customer Service Officer

Job description

A market leading Australian owned Transport and Logistics company is looking for their next Customer Service Administrator. 

Duties include: 
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide information and updates regarding deliveries, products, and logistics processes.
  • Assist customers with booking, tracking orders, and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to team initiatives.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Experience required: 
  • Previous experience in customer service and / or administration -  preferably in the transport and logistics industry but not essential. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to think on their feet and make decisions confidently.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm) Plus one Saturday per month (6am - 12pm) You will get paid overtime for this shift.
