Troocoo Government are partnering with a key QLD State Government client to find an experienced A04 Executive Assistant! This opportunity is a temporary labour hire contract initially until the 25/07/2025 (potential to extend), based in Brisbane's CBD.

The Role
As the A04 Executive Assistant you will provide high-level confidential executive, administrative and research support to the Manager of the Office of the DDG. You will maintain effective liaison between the Manager, senior executives, external clients and stakeholders on all matters relating to the Manager's role.

You will be required to:
  • Provide confidential administrative and executive support to the Deputy Director-General, Corporate Services (DDG CS) including coordination of the high volume of information and workflow through the Office of the DDG CS (ODDG CS).
  • Manage the DDG CS calendar through scheduling of appointments, including complex Ministerial and stakeholder meetings, and coordination of meeting and briefing papers through OneNote.
  • Support the prioritisation and processing of emails in the ODDG CS shared mailbox by determining priority, initiating necessary action and preparing responses.
  • Perform a range of administration tasks including (but not limited to) stationery and equipment orders, meeting support and set-up, archiving and recordkeeping, travel acquittals, gifts and benefits.
  • Coordinate agendas and meeting papers for meetings including (but not limited) to Corporate Services Leadership team meetings, DG-DDG CS meetings.
  • Coordinate the Corporate Services responses for general information requests from the Office of the DG, Departmental Liaison Office, PPQs and governance registers.
  • Quality assure information flows through the ODDG CS, including assistance with correspondence and briefs through MinCor.
About You
A competitive applicant for the A04 Executive Assistant position would have skills & experience and demonstrated understanding in the following areas:
  • Prior experience supporting a Manager within a DDG's Office would be highly desirable.
  • Prior Public Sector EA experience.
  • Excellent time management skills and organisation.
  • Prior experience with OneNote and MinCor would be advantageous.
