About the Role
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the leadership team to drive policy development initiatives and uphold governance standards. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled individual to make a significant impact within a dynamic organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a review of governance frameworks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and present reports on governance performance and improvements to senior leadership and board members.
  • Provide guidance to board members and executive leadership on governance matters.
  • Manage and organize board meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation, and follow-up actions.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of board materials, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Assume company secretarial responsibilities, including board meeting coordination, governance documentation, and compliance tracking.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to optimize policy effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:

You will be an experienced senior Policy and Governance professional with demonstrated company secretary experience. You will also bring:
  • Extensive experience in senior-level roles focused on policy development and governance within large organizations.
  • Profound understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry best practices pertaining to policy management.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical mindset, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, public policy, business administration, or related fields.
