Impressively, they are going through an organisation wide transformation and are heavily invested and committed to the safety of their people. Given this change, this department is sourcing a Return-to-Work Specialist to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.
About the role
This Workplace Health and Safety opportunity will see you manage all rehabilitation and return to cases across the department. Working closely with stakeholders to manage caseloads you will actively provide quality care and advice to all parties. Day to day you will work to keep a clean data base, ensuring all matters are documented in a timely manner and are compliant with legislative requirements. It will be necessary for you to provide the leadership team with regular reporting based on active cases, lost time injury etc. You will be an essential part of the team to fast-track deliverables around organisational workplace health and safety.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring strong Workplace Health and Safety experience within a construction environment. Your passion will lie with return to work and rehabilitation cases and you will enjoy creating a supportive environment for employees through their return-to-work journeys. You will thrive working autonomously, while actively contributing to a successful team. Your stakeholder management ability will be strong and you will care about establishing meaningful relationships with employees and external bodies to ensure the process is executed smoothly and compliance conscious.  You will also –
  • Be confident and have proven experience developing and supporting return to work plans.
  • Workcover claims management experience, with relevant systems knowledge.
  • Be able to influence and engage stakeholders of varying levels.
  • Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety or a related discipline
