About the Role;
We are looking for an Instructional Designer to join our technology client to play a pivotal role in shaping their training programs for internal and external stakeholders.  You will bring expertise in instructional design, e-learning technologies, and adult learning theories.  You will be instrumental in enhancing training materials and ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development are optimised.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of e-learning modules tailored for operational employees and engineers servicing our overseas clients' operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project team to create engaging and interactive e-learning content that aligns with adult learning theories and best practices in instructional design.
  • Produce accessible learning support materials, including Quick Reference Guides and educational videos, to empower users in their training journey.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Be the primary Instructional Designer, taking ownership of the design process and its successful execution.
  • Utilise e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate 360, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) effectively.
  • Continuously improve and update training materials to reflect the latest industry standards and best practices.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Exceptional project management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A deep understanding of adult learning principles and a passion for enhancing the learning experience.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across various teams and departments.
  • Comfortable working as the sole Instructional Designer, taking initiative, and delivering results.
  • Strong proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems.
  • Previous experience in instructional design, particularly in a technical setting, is highly desirable.
  • Articulate 360 experience will be highly regarded.
This is an initial 6-month fixed-term position with the potential to transition into a permanent role.  Our client offers flexibility and wfh options.
