Reporting to the Team Leader, the HR/Payroll Systems specialist is responsible for:
- Supporting the ongoing development and delivery of the HR / payroll systems, and information resources to match the vision and needs of the organisation.
- Identify and document business requirements for new or enhanced information systems and resources
- Coordinate product enhancement activities including, user stories, solution design and user testing scenarios for products
- Develop and co-ordinate change management strategies and implementation plans aligned to information system enhancements and services
- Developing and updating processes and procedure documents and other collateral to support new initiatives and improve business operations and learning opportunities as required
- Advising and supporting technology adoption, digital literacy, learning experience design and content development for the organisation and office end users
- Experience in a similar role supporting end users through transformation of process, practice and technology
- Proven understanding of Product management, Release management, Change management and Incident management practices as they relate to information systems support, optimisation and implementation
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to respond to complex issues under pressure, plan, organize & schedule workflow in a short time frame
- Experience with HR/Payroll experience/knowledge working with business processes/solutions (knowledge and experience with APay (Ascender) is highly sought after
- Ability to developing reports using specific reporting software (knowledge of SQL is essential)
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree qualification in either education, business, information technology, information systems or another relevant field.
- Possession of a current/valid Queensland Driver’s Licence and eligibility to work within Australia for the period of this appointment.
- Currently hold or be eligible to hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card or teacher registration
