Troocoo has partnered with a leading community services organisation to recruit their Head of Single Assessment Services. This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of Single Assessment Services, with a particular focus on the aged care sector. The organisation is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to individuals within the community, and this role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful and efficient delivery of critical services to clients.

- Lead and drive the implementation of strategic initiatives in line with the organization’s goals, ensuring compliance with contracts, legislation, and policies.
- Ensure that the Single Assessment Service is client-centered and meets required guidelines, standards, and policies.
- Lead, mentor, and support teams to achieve business outcomes and maintain a strong team structure.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including funders, to enhance service delivery.
- Provide strategic advice on sector updates, potential risks, and emerging trends.
- Ensure that services comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including health, safety, privacy, and diversity frameworks.
- Manage financial aspects such as budgets and expenditure and ensure proper reconciliation of performance metrics in line with contractual obligations.
- Oversee the health and safety of staff and clients by ensuring safe work practices and compliance with WHS policies. Participate in risk assessments, report hazards, and ensure mandatory training is completed.
- Drive continuous improvement by embedding data-driven decision-making and feedback loops to enhance service delivery and meet organizational objectives.
- A minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles, preferably in aged care, disability, or community services.
- A health-related tertiary qualification such as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker with current professional registration (e.g., AHPRA).
- Proven experience in operational management, change implementation, and high-volume environments with strong KPI management skills.
- Experience in managing contracts, including compliance, reporting, and relationship management with stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and written communication skills to effectively manage diverse teams and complex operational issues.
