About the role:
As the Head of Marketing, you will lead the development and execution of an integrated marketing strategy that strengthens brand positioning, enhances lead generation and conversion, and ultimately drives business growth in a highly competitive sector.
You will oversee the traditional marketing, digital marketing, and contact centre functions – ensuring a data-driven, customer-centric approach to engagement. This role will be pivotal in shaping how G8 connects with families, builds loyalty, and elevates its brand presence nationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute a customer-focused marketing strategy to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Oversee digital marketing (SEO/SEM, paid media, email, social), traditional channels, events, and PR.
- Build and champion a strong brand identity aligned with G8’s purpose and vision.
- Manage the contact centre team to optimise lead conversion and ensure high-quality customer experiences.
- Use data, analytics, and marketing automation to personalise and improve campaign performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to ensure marketing efforts align with broader business goals.
- Inspire, lead, and mentor a team of marketing and customer engagement professionals.
- 10+ years in senior marketing leadership roles, ideally within education, healthcare, retail, or multi-site services.
- Proven track record in performance marketing, brand strategy, and digital execution.
- Experience managing customer service/contact centre operations is highly desirable.
- Expertise in data-driven marketing and leveraging CRM/automation tools.
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic mindset, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A passion for purpose-led organisations and building high-performing teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or Business.
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Working with Children Check.
