The role:
Our client is seeking an experienced General manager of IT who has demonstrable experience of leading an IT function through growth and change. Role responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- develop and implement the information, communication and digital technology strategy ensuring
alignment with the parent company's best practices, and our client's strategic direction.
- lead the development of our client's digital capability to emerge as an agile, progressive and
sustainable offering in the marketplace.
- in partnership with business units design and deliver information systems solutions that address business
needs, including pricing customer contract management and billing engine and covering both internal and
external customers
- develop and implement a Learning Management System (LMS) Strategy covering large, medium, and small
enterprises, and management of the LMS.
The successful candidate:
The General Manager of IT will play a pivotal role in the future direction of the business and must have a proven ability to motivate, engage and drive teams to achieve agreed
outcomes. The role holder must be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of IT systems to identify opportunities to leverage performance and outcomes based on strategic goals and organizational needs and thereafter develop and implement IT strategies aligned to the achievement of our client's strategic plan.
The role holder will have significant experience of developing digital capability and establishing IT systems and processes in collaboration with key stakeholders, aligned to strategic goals and organizational needs including:

- Technology Infrastructure, Information System Architecture, Applications,
- Technology and Information domains, System Development Life Cycle,
- Application Programming Interface and Digitization.

The General Manager of IT will be an innovative thinker with knowledge and understanding of best practice technical solutions and have a clear ability to manage and own the following:

1) Analytical Thinking

● Experience in investigating, developing and delivering strong business cases to secure purchase
● high capacity for data analysis and research and concise presentation and reporting of information.

2) Financial Management
● Financial management and KPI reporting experience.
● Budget management
● Ensure planning, forecasting of IT targets to achieve set budgets

3) Project Management
● demonstrated project management experience with the ability to achieve outcomes
● Leads cross functional project teams and manages their performance.
● Develops large project budget, plans and controls.
● Determines project risk and project governance functions.
● Implements project monitoring frameworks.
● Implement project evaluation frameworks

The package on offer will be up to $208,000 inclusive of super + relevant incentive packages.
