Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist ER advice to leaders and employees on workplace matters, including performance management, misconduct, grievances, and disciplinary action
- Assist in managing complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with policies, enterprise agreements, and employment legislation
- Support and guide managers through workplace investigations, including conducting interviews, gathering evidence, and preparing reports
- Advise on enterprise agreements, award interpretation, and policy application to ensure compliance and fair treatment of employees
- Partner with stakeholders to resolve workplace disputes and implement effective solutions that align with business goals and legal requirements
- Assist with redundancies, restructures, and change management initiatives, ensuring adherence to workplace legislation and best practices
- Contribute to policy development and process improvements, helping to drive a positive and compliant workplace culture
- Provide training and coaching to leaders on ER best practices, performance management, and workplace compliance
- Proven experience in Employee Relations, HR Advisory, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of Australian employment law, enterprise agreements, and HR policies
- Ability to hit the ground running and manage multiple ER cases simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide managers
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving workplace issues
