Role Overview:
As a Data Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic data solutions within our Insights Platform. Leveraging your background in data engineering and data warehousing, you will develop comprehensive architectures that enable efficient data management, processing, and analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure that our data solutions align with organizational goals and objectives. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to influence and engage with executive and senior stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data architectures and solutions within our Insights Platform, incorporating best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture designs.
- Lead the implementation of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions to support business needs and analytics initiatives.
- Manage and optimize data infrastructure and platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Act as a strategic advisor, providing guidance and recommendations on data architecture, technology selection, and solution implementation.
- Communicate effectively with executive and senior stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and recommendations.
- Influence and drive consensus on strategic decisions related to data architecture and technology investments.
What You'll Bring:
- Extensive experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and solution architecture within a corporate environment, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong background in managing complex data ecosystems and implementing end-to-end data solutions.
- Proven ability to manage executive and senior stakeholders and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with APIs, working with insurance insights, and exposure to tools like Terraform is highly desirable.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think holistically and drive long-term value through data solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate and influence in a large organization with multiple moving pieces.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
