As they continue to evolve their data capabilities, they are seeking a seasoned Data Solutions Architect to join their team and lead the development of robust data solutions within the corporate environment.
The Role:
As the Data Solutions Architect you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data solutions that support our business objectives and enable efficient data management. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, including tough and tricky stakeholders, to understand their needs and requirements, and translate them into actionable data strategies and architectures. With a strong focus on data engineering, you will build and maintain data pipelines, ensure data quality and integrity, and drive the adoption of best practices and standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with other architects in the team to establish data architecture principles and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data solutions within the corporate platform, focusing on managing customer data and banking insights.
- Collaborate with tough stakeholders across various functions such as risk, legal, finance, and product owners to understand their data needs and requirements.
- Develop and implement data strategies that align with business objectives and support long-term growth and scalability.
- Lead the development of data pipelines and ETL processes, ensuring data quality, reliability, and integrity.
- Utilize Databricks, Oracle Fusion, and other corporate technologies to architect and implement scalable and efficient data solutions.
- Work closely with delivery squads, domain enterprise architects, and platform owners to drive successful implementation of data solutions.
- Engage with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize data initiatives.
- Champion data architecture principles and best practices, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Bring:
- Extensive experience in data engineering and solution architecture within a corporate environment, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong background in managing customer data and banking insights, with experience in Oracle HCM highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work with tough stakeholders and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience in developing and implementing data strategies and architectures, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
- Proficiency in Databricks, Oracle Fusion, and other corporate technologies used for data management and analytics.
- Experience working in delivery squads and collaborating with domain enterprise architects and platform owners.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex data environments and stakeholder dynamics.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
