About the role:
 
The Business Analyst is a key role in the Product Delivery Team responsible for converting business requirements into technical specifications as part of the agile SCRUM process. As a Business Analyst, you are passionate about effective development (SDLC) and SCRUM, and are comfortable managing stakeholders strongly so that detailed requirements are gathered. This role is to support the Product Delivery Manager to run an effective SDLC process using the SCRUM methodology.

You will be required to :
  • Review the User Stories created and translate into technical specification with an acceptance criteria.
  • Map Business Process to the level of detail required to obtain clear requirements and convert into technical artifacts.
  • Anticipate and analyse the needs of the customers to find solutions to address their problems.
  • Develop Functional Specifications requirements with Principal Consultant, Portfolio Manager and Solutions architects to make sure that they meet the client acceptance criteria and detailed enough for the Development & Testing team.
  • Ability to understand the systems architectural landscape, conduct any relevant data modelling requirements where applicable.
  • Work with the Product Delivery Manager to improve reporting on the release management process support in continuously improve the Release Management and SCRUM process.
The successful candidate:
  • Agile or SCRUM training and certification highly desirable
  • 5 years within an Agile or SCRUM environment developing products or applications (SDLC).
  • Ideally working within a vendor or external client facing environment
  • 3 year’s experience as a Business Analyst or creating technical specifications in projects or managed services.
  • Microsoft Devops or JIRA including how the team use this to deliver product updates and releases
  • Expert knowledge in Agile Scrum and use of backlog priming to ensure agreed/suitable features/functionality is released to our various clients.
  • Degree level preferably in Computer Science, BCOM or IT
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to obtain baseline security clearance.
