About the role:

As Allegion continue to innovate and lead the market in high quality security solutions, an exceptional opportunity is now available for an experienced Account Manager - OEM to join the team. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Account Manager - OEM will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, revenue growth and distribution of all Allegion OEM products within an assigned territory.

Other key responsibilities include:
  • Develops sustainable and profitable relationships with core Allegion customers and secures new business accounts/customers.
  • Actively selling into the construction industry through OEM manufactures in timber joinery, aluminum systems, shutter markets and resellers of architectural nature.
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships in order to influence the product assortment purchased by merchants and fabricators.
  • Build strong, productive customer relationships through face to face sales calls and agreed service standards.
  • Manage client accounts by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • With assistance from the marketing team take to market creative, innovative and challenging customer- based solutions that grows revenue and market share across the various platforms.
  • Develop and implement individual business plans to meet yield, revenue and market share budgets; implement sales strategies; take steps to remove barriers and/or correct potential shortfalls in the achievement of objectives.
Abut you:
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years account management experience with a proven track record.
  • At least 2-4 years demonstrated sales experience in hardware or OEM supply industry manufacturing.
  • Business to business selling experience.
  • Proven ability to develop & maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Aptitude for mechanical and electronic products.
  • Project management skills desirable.
  • Willingness and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
