Troocoo Government have been engaged by an established QLD State Statutory Authority in the recruitment of multiple A05 Project Officers. These opportunities are offered as initial 2-year fixed-term contracts, working full-time in Brisbane's CBD.
The Role
As the Project Officer you will undertake project coordination activities to successfully deliver programs, projects and initiatives. You will assist the Project Lead to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, and in-line with the objectives and outcomes of the team's portfolio and strategic plan.
You will be required (however not limited) to:
- Provide project coordination and support as required and directed by the Project Lead.
- Support the development of all program/project documentation, reporting, and information and/or data required.
- Coordinate, support, and complete the delivery of specialised and specific work packages and project activities.
- Support risk and issue identification, assessment, and mitigation activities by ensuring risks and issues are documented, reviewed, and escalated appropriately.
- Provide secretariat services to project boards and committees and prepare for workshops.
- Maintain positive and effective relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders and teams, facilitate effective communication, and foster positive relationships.
- The role requires previous knowledge or exposure to project
delivery in a service delivery operating environment using best-practice methodologies. - A PRINCE2 and Change Management Foundations qualification is viewed as highly desirable.
