Our client is a leading employer here in Australia with a track record of success and a focus on continued growth, both people and customers. They are headquartered here in Brisbane and are looking for an experienced senior people and culture business partner, to work with a key group and drive exceptional people results for the business.   
  
About the role:
This position will work with a key employee group and the relevant leaders and will drive the overall people and culture agenda. The role will ensure that current HR policies and procedures are being embedded and adopted, with a focus on ER/IR, keeping a ‘people’ focus at all times. Leading workforce planning and organisational design, as well as specific HR transformation projects, will also be required.
  
As a key member of the people and culture team, the role will support the partner group with leadership development and coaching initiatives, talent assessment, succession planning, performance management, and organisational risk management. There is a lot of positive opportunity to make a real impact and difference within the group moving forward.
  
About you:
To be considered for this role you will be tertiary qualified in human resources or relevant and will have significant experience working in large corporate environments. The role will require a thorough understanding of Australian Employment and Industrial Relations standards and policies, as well as the ability to problem solve both through critical and conceptual thinking.
  
The successful candidate will have the confidence and gravitas to challenge thinking where appropriate, and will work with the current leaders to bring the people and commercial strategy closer together. Exceptional communication skills as well as leadership skills will of course be required.
