Marketing Executive

Our client is a Professional Services Membership based organisation based in the heart of Brisbane CBD.

They are looking for an experience Campaign Manager to join their Marketing team. 

The purpose of the Marketing Executive is to coordinate and deliver marketing and communication support for campaigns that seek to attract and retain membership, while ensuring revenue targets are met through the uptake of products and services on offer

The Marketing Executive is responsible for working closely with the Marketing Manager and other managers across the firm to deliver on large campaigns.

As part of a marketing team, and a broader team focused on marketing, communication and engagement, the Marketing Executive role is to develop and execute marketing and communications activities to benefit the broader needs of the organisation but also some specific business units with specialty responsibilities that advise and inform legal professionals about how to reduce and manage their risk as legal practitioners.

The Marketing Executive is responsible for:

  • Assist the Marketing Manager to develop and implement strategic and operational plans to deliver on the Society’s marketing objectives.

  • Develop, recommend and implement marketing strategies and campaigns for major events and specific member services and products, whilst ensuring that all outputs are delivered on time to the highest standard.

  • Strategically and tactically support business units in the development of specific marketing strategies to achieve all business unit and corporate goals, e.g. L&PD, Ethics, Practice Support, Professional Standards, Facilities, Advocacy and Specialist Accreditation.

  • Research, coordinate and develop marketing materials to effectively deliver campaigns

  • Track campaign progress, budget and preparation of reports as required.

  • Develop and maintain stakeholder networks and engagement strategies to ensure mutually beneficial relationships.

  • Assist in the research and drafting of communication materials, including publications, displays, web pages, advertisements, presentations, speech notes, newsletters, reports and other marketing tools (as required) to support the management of the Society’s reputation with the profession, members, stakeholders and the general public.

In order to be successful in this role you will possess:

  • At least five years’ experience in a marketing or communication role, ideally in a professional membership association.

  • Excellent level of written and verbal communication skills

  • Very high attention to detail

  • Outstanding project management skills to deliver end to end campaigns to meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrated experience managing internal stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing tasks and deadlines

  • Experience with web content management systems and email marketing software

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn a diverse range of tasks.

  • Creative mind and ability

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment

  • The ability to respond quickly to changing situations
