As the Health and Safety Advisor, you will provide specialist advice, guidance, and support on all matters relating to workplace health and safety. You’ll partner with leaders and employees to foster a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance with legislation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that make a genuine impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert advice on health, safety, and wellbeing matters to leaders and staff.
• Support the implementation of safety systems, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor, assess, and report on safety performance, identifying risks and recommending improvements.
• Lead incident investigations and support the development of preventative measures.
• Facilitate training and awareness programs to build safety capability across the workforce.
• Actively contribute to a positive, collaborative, and safe work environment.

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in a health and safety advisory role within a complex organisation.
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance frameworks, and best practice.
• Skilled in risk management, incident response, and safety reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
