Troocoo Government-Tech has been engaged to assist with the recruitment of an A08 Web Project Manager to join a key QLD State Government client. This is a full-time agency contract, based in the CBD, initially to the 29/11/24 (view to extend to 2025). This opportunity sits on the A08/1 banding and will pay $88.39 per hour + super. 

The Role
The A08 Web Project Manager will manage their website content improvement project and lead 3-5 team members to support the project. You will be required (however not limited) to:

• Manage all aspects of identified projects, including work package delivery, budget, vendor relationships and contracts, recruitment, stakeholder engagement and reporting.
• Provide expert advice and strategic input into the development of project deliverables to ensure they meet best practice and mandatory standards, are informed by consumer insights, trends and research, and comply with relevant policies.
• Monitor and evaluate project delivery through effective reporting, metrics and analysis.
• Manage escalations and complex issues and provide professional guidance and support as required.
• Design strategic project plans and solutions that add value to the department’s objectives, priorities, delivery programs and reputation.
• Support departmental policies and procedures and contribute to effective governance processes.
• Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of project staff..

• High-level negotiation, consultation, facilitation and written and oral communication skills in a complex project environment.
• Specialist knowledge and skills to make decisions with rigour and lead the delivery of high-quality digital outcomes.

Mandatory requirements

• Experience or qualifications in waterfall or Agile project management methodologies.
• Experience or qualifications in human-centred design and digital solution delivery would be highly regarded.
