Veteran and Family Wellbeing Centre Manager
Townsville
Troocoo are excited to continue our partnership with RSL Queensland to appoint a Centre Manager for the Townsville Veteran and Family Wellbeing Centre.
This centre plays a critical role in delivering coordinated wellbeing and allied health services to veterans and their families across North Queensland.
About the role
This is a hands on operational leadership role with responsibility for the daily management of the centre, service coordination and team leadership.
You will be accountable for ensuring services are delivered safely, consistently and with impact, while supporting teams through ongoing change and growth.
The role includes;
• End-to-end management of centre operations and service delivery
• Leading frontline teams supporting veterans and families
• Coordinating referrals, service pathways and stakeholder engagement
• Managing inbound client support requests and service flow
• Ensuring compliance with WHS, risk and organisational policies
• Monitoring service metrics and contributing to performance reporting
• Building strong relationships with community partners and service providers
• Leading and developing multidisciplinary teams of up to twenty staff
• Providing steady leadership in a complex and high-demand service environment
About you
You are an experienced service delivery leader who understands the responsibility that comes with working in impact-driven environments.
You will bring
• Strong operational leadership experience in community, NGO or health services
• A clear understanding of service delivery and its impact on vulnerable cohorts
• Confidence leading multidisciplinary teams in a busy centre environment
• Practical problem-solving skills and steady leadership through change
• A values-driven approach aligned to purpose-led organisations
Defence experience is an advantage but not essential. Candidates from community services, health or NGO backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
