The role:
The Testing Analysts are primarily to conduct tests for all configuration changes for our client.  The Testing analyst will design, develop, and administer a series of tests and evaluations that identify any potential issues with platform configuration before its general release to our client base.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
  • Collaborate closely with Development Teams, Solutions Architect and Client Teams
  • Design, develop and execute all levels of testing of all configurations changes in Development and SIT Environments
  • Design and develop test automation wherepossible
  • Detect, raise and track software defects and inconsistencies to closure
  • Provide timely solutions for any defects identifed
  • Provide Testing support and documentation in Azure Dev Ops
  • Design, develop and review appropirate metrics needed to evaluate test performance and platform quality by developing relevant dashboards and reports.
  • Actively drive in increasing the Testing Maturity.
  
The successful candidate:
The successful candidate will currently be working in a software testing team with some experience in Agile Development software.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in testing position
  • Able to research and write up a project related brief
  • Automated testing (desirable)
  • Azure DevOps, JIRA or similar tools
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in document and report writing.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Awareness of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Logical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with Agile Development software.
