Temporary Records Sorting Officers

Job description

We are seeking up to 10 reliable and detail focused temporary staff to support an urgent records sorting project based on site at Northgate. This is a hands on role suited to people who are comfortable with structured repetitive work and who take confidentiality seriously.
 
This project is scheduled to commence from Tuesday 7 January and will run for approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
 
The role
You will be working as part of a small team to process archived paper records that have been retrieved from service delivery sites. Under the guidance of an onsite team leader you will assist with;

- Sorting and consolidating individual client records so all documentation relating to one client is stored together
- Cataloguing archive boxes so records can be retrieved quickly if required
- Separating HR and staff related records for secure handling by the HR team
- Identifying sensitive or incorrectly held documents and arranging appropriate return
- Secure destruction of duplicate blank or non business related paperwork

- Reliability and availability to work onsite at Northgate every day
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or records storage environment
- Ability to follow clear instructions and work as part of a team
Please note this role is fully onsite and no work from home is available.
