Technology Project Manager

Job description

A new 12 month contract opportunity s readily available for a Technology Project Manager to join this well recognised and leading QLD For Purpose Organisation based in Brisbane CBD.

The Project Manager –  will be responsible for leading and managing the replacement of the Organisations implementation of a solution f for improved stability, sustainability and scalability.

Further to this, the Project Manager will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
  • Actively engage with Executive Leadership to ensure the project continues to deliver the appropriate outcomes and business benefits.
  • Develop, own and maintain the project plan in accordance with the above responsibilities
  • Conduct the day-to-day management of the project, including taking the project forward from appointment, working closely with Change Management resources to supervise the delivery of new capabilities, and closing the project.
  • Manage the project’s budget and monitor the expenditures and costs against benefits that are realised as the project progresses.
  • Develop and present high-quality project collateral, artefacts and reporting Report on the progress of project delivery against milestones at regular intervals to the Project Steering Committee, Executive Leadership and other designated governance bodies, with a particular focus on integration build and delivery of the end user device solution
  • Plan and design the project and proactively monitor its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
  • Initiate extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the project are identified or issues arise.
  • Effectively coordinate the project and its interdependencies.
  • Manage and resolve any risks and other issues that may arise.
  • Ensure the project complies with delivery processes, standards and tools. Work with Digital and Transactional Services as required to ensure the delivery of new solutions meets project requirements and are to the appropriate quality, timeframe and within budget.
  • Undertake other duties as required/directed as service needs change or grow  
To be considered for this role, you will required to demonstrate the following key areas of professional and personal competencies:

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing a major change project to achieve critical business outcomes.
  • Substantial capability in project planning techniques, including the ability to assess and manage risks, issues, budgets, schedules, resources, and outcomes/deliverables.
  • Proven experience delivering benefits driven projects and benefits management capability.
  • Strong track record in developing and applying project management methods and tools with high attention to detail.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship skills at executive and senior management level, with the ability to lead/influence a diverse group of people.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to develop and present high-quality project collateral and artefacts, facilitate stakeholder meetings and explain technical information to non-technical people. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a high-performance team across a range of disciplines, including external vendors.
  • Strong customer-focused attitude and a commitment to actively display organisational values
  • Previous expereince with AlayaCare SaaS based solutions
