About the role:
The Systems Accountant will ensure that Powerlink is supported with the development of corporate financial systems and interfaces that enable effective financial planning and budgeting.
You will support the Senior Systems Accountant in helping to identify and improve efficiencies within the systems and work with the business to support the SAP upgrades and maintenance of SAP financial modules.
You will assist on designing, developing and maintaining financial reports that provide quality, accurate and timely information to support and enhance business decisions.
Your role will also include performing system processes such as month end reporting and ensuring that the integrity of the system is intact ready for the business to use as required.
About you:
We are looking for a Systems Accountant who is passionate about systems and what automation can do for an organisation.
Holding a degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, or other IT relevant discipline, you naturally initiate innovation to drive value for business outcomes and have an enquiring approach to continuously improve processes. You also have a clear ability to extract, reconcile, and validate the information across systems.
Exposure to SAP will be highly regarded.
