The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for coordinating, organising and overseeing all activities involved in the identification and acquisition of raw materials for production and ensuring in full on-time delivery of finished goods to customers.

The Position
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for coordinating, organising and overseeing all activities involved in the identification and acquisition of raw materials for production and ensuring in full on-time delivery of finished goods to customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan, develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams both locally and across the organisation to ensure ongoing supply.
- Maintain business reporting tools to highlight key metrics in the supply chain.
- Organise and oversee inventory by keeping a detailed database of available inventory and expected usage, ensuring sufficient stocks are maintained.
- Manage logistics, delivery systems, and processes involved in both inbound raw materials and the dispatch of finished goods to customers.
- Identify and advise the company on the most suitable vendors and distributors for consumable items.
- Build and maintain good relationships with internal and external suppliers and customers.
- Identify potential supply risks and pre-emptively implement strategies that mitigate the business impact.
- Coach, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Supply Chain leadership position is required.
- Experience in Food, Packaging, Pharmaceutical, FMCG manufacturing or similar environments.
- High level of interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Methodical, organised and process-driven approach.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capability.
