The Role 

Reporting to the National Supplier Relationship Manager, the Supplier Relationship Manager will drive key cost, service, and quality outcomes across the partner network. This role is central to effective contract management, supplier performance, and strategic relationship development.

Key responsibilities include: 
  • Support the vetting and procurement of supplier services within defined governance, compliance, and contractual frameworks
  • Audit, analyse, and manage cost, quality, and service performance to ensure contractual, regulatory, and best-practice standards are consistently met
  • Work with the Supply Chain Manager to monitor national supplier capacity, ensuring adequate geographic and volume coverage
  • Review supplier feedback daily and work with stakeholders to drive solutions and continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular supplier review meetings and document outcomes and action plans
  • Identify and report on key trends, risks, and opportunities within your supplier category
  • Assist with resolving supplier disputes, negotiations, and claims
  • Undertake supplier risk assessments and manage compliance for potential new partners
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in procurement, supplier management, or supplier relationship management
  • Exposure to the building, construction, or related industries preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
