You’ll play a central role in designing and delivering solutions across multiple technology domains, ensuring architecture decisions are innovative, commercially sound, and aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures that balance business needs, technology feasibility, and cost considerations.
• Lead technical conversations with stakeholders, bridging strategy, delivery, and commercial priorities.
• Define solution blueprints covering application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security layers.
• Provide direction for the design and implementation of SaaS platforms and cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
• Govern solution quality, ensure alignment with standards, and support key decision-making processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and guide their adoption where they add measurable value.

About You

• Proven track record as a Solution Architect working on complex technology projects.
• Strong technical understanding across integration, applications, data and infrastructure.
• Experience designing and implementing SaaS or hybrid cloud solutions (e.g. Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, or similar).
• Ability to lead technical discussions and influence both business and IT stakeholders.
• Commercially aware and capable of balancing innovation with practicality and cost.
• TOGAF or ITIL certification desirable.
• Previous experience within utilities, energy, or essential services will be highly regarded.
