Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures that balance business needs, technology feasibility, and cost considerations.
- Lead technical conversations with stakeholders, bridging strategy, delivery, and commercial priorities.
- Define solution blueprints covering application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security layers.
- Provide direction for the design and implementation of SaaS platforms and cloud-based solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Govern solution quality, ensure alignment with standards, and support key decision-making processes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and guide their adoption where they add measurable value.
- Proven track record as a Solution Architect working on complex technology projects.
- Strong technical understanding across integration, applications, data and infrastructure.
- Experience designing and implementing SaaS or hybrid cloud solutions (e.g. Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, or similar).
- Ability to lead technical discussions and influence both business and IT stakeholders.
- Commercially aware and capable of balancing innovation with practicality and cost.
- TOGAF or ITIL certification desirable.
- Previous experience within utilities, energy, or essential services will be highly regarded.
