Troocoo is excited to be partnering with a growing Australian transport business with a strong 4-year growth plan to expand its marketing team.
About the Business: This multi-branch organisation has experienced substantial growth, expanding from 700 to 2500 employees over the past three years.
Role Overview: The Content & Social Media Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the company's Marketing & Communications function. This position involves a blend of analytical and creative responsibilities, including managing platforms and understanding analytics, as well as creating and curating content.
The role requires someone who is experienced in photography, stakeholder management, and creative writing, capable of engaging a diverse audience through compelling storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
You'll be a creative and detail-oriented social media expert with 2+ years of corporate or media experience. You will excel in digital literacy, managing channels, and crafting engaging content. Proficiency in Adobe Suite, graphic design, and social media strategy is essential. Excellent communication, strong task prioritization, project management skills, and proficiency with CRM, direct mail software. A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Journalism, PR, or Communications is a must. If you're a critical thinker with a passion for storytelling, we want to hear from you!

- Monitor and engage with all social media channels
- Plan, schedule, source, and draft engaging content for social media, website, news, and internal communications
- Collaborate with various business areas to develop and deploy social media campaigns
- Repurpose and optimize content from internal news for social media
- Seek and manage approvals, and fact-check through stakeholders
- Develop and manage the company's Media Library
- Maintain a library of messages for responding to social media inquiries
- Manage effective SEO content, paid social media campaigns, and targeted initiatives to support brand positioning
- Report on social media performance to gauge campaign success and identify opportunities
- Assist in developing and implementing plans to draw customers and enhance the company’s competitive position
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on marketing activities
- Participate in other ad-hoc marketing activities as directed
