Duties:
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing quality of work, provide technical support and solve issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Being the main point of contact for all subcontractors, being active and on the road each day visiting sites.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Update and follow the EnergyBuild Safety Management system to ensure safe work environments and minimize risks.
- Assess building sites for work readiness and identify/rectify potential building and OH&S hazards.
- Ensure accurate measures with minimal waste and promptly address installation issues.
- Visit sites to inspect access safety and material requirements for solar installations.
- Maintain quality service by keeping regular contact with customers and suppliers and resolving site issues.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers and communicate clearly with the EnergyBuild office staff.
- Proactively address delays or issues with customers or suppliers.
- Manage supplier accounts and procure stock.
- Ensure subcontractor workmanship meets company standards through inspections and identifying root causes of issues.
- Ensure compliance with current regulations and correct practices.
- Inspect warranty claims and carry out maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Provide advice and training to improve installation quality and compliance.
- Liaise with warehouse and inventory coordinator to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Supervise other staff regularly.
- Perform other general administrative tasks as required.
- A trade background or relevant competency in Solar PV generation and Electrical services.
- A customer centric mindset, always focused on customer satisfaction.
- A proactive approach to tasks, someone who isn’t afraid to take ownership to ensure timeliness and delivery.
- A thorough and methodical approach to tasks to ensure important points are not missed.
- Ability to give direction and implement plans.
- A safety conscious approach to all dealings, ensuring they are always aware of safety matters and proactive in managing safety concerns.
