The Role
The Site Manager is a full-time, permanent position reporting into the National Logistics & Operations Manager. Based out of Eagle Farm, Queensland, onsite 5-days per week, this role will lead a team of 4-6 Site Coordinators.
The core focus of this role is to provide strong leadership to ensure smooth operations across the site whilst driving a strong workplace health & safety culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the site.
- Lead a small team of site coordinators.
- Manage the receiving, storing, and distribution of vehicles whilst maintaining accurate stock records and systems.
- Drive a strong safety culture, leading by example.
- Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to drive high performance.
- Identify key areas for improvement to the overall site function, make recommendations to the National Logistics & Operations Manager and execute improvement projects.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly audit reports to provide insights into site operational efficiency.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance.
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have the ability to work to strict deadlines and develop best practice protocols with minimal supervision.
- Proven experience within a Warehouse, Logistics, Site Management position.
- Previous people leadership experience is essential.
- Experience working within the automotive or heavy vehicle industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to build and sustain effective relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing new processes to improve operational efficiencies is highly regarded.
- Experience in managing supplier and third-party providers is highly regarded.
- Previous experience using ERP / WMS / Inventory Management systems and Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Full Australian drivers licence.
