The Team:
 
The team is divided into streams and is highly dynamic. As a result you will get a chance to work across different applications. All the applications are fully automated and since there is continuous growth, they are looking to strengthen this Software Engineering team further with the addition of a skilled Senior Software Engineer (full stack).


The role:
The Senior Software Engineer will be an integral part of the transformation of an analytical application into a scalable cloud-based solution. This role requires hands-on coding and system development skills. The role is ideally suited to a skilled Software Engineer who is strong in both backend and frontend technologies.


Responsibilities:
  • You will work with technology solution peers to build the new applications and maintain existing applications
  • Work as part of a team of software engineers to streamline and automate the operational processes
  • Deliver software components/applications in a complex environment.
  • Build and the maintain systems from scratch
  • Work with stakeholders including the executives, leads, delivery teams and Business Analysts to assist with technical issues and support
  • Responsible for operationally supporting and improving the applications
  
The Successful candidate:
 
In order to be considered for this role, you will meet the majority of the following criteria. 
  • Advanced, hands-on experience with React or Nodejs.
  • Hands on experience with .Net/C#
  • Experience within the  AWS Cloud platform (GCP and Azure are also to be considered)
  • Advanced coding skills
  • Experience working within the energy and utilities industries is highly advantageous
  • SQL is desirable but not mandatory
  • You will have strong technical skills and able to present and communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders (including senior management)
