About the company
We are working with a global software company which develops highly complex products that touch multiple industries, and excels in solving business problems with mathematics and cutting edge technology. This role is suited to a specialist software engineer who has excellent technical skills in Python or/or C++, and exposure to development on cloud based technologies. 

Key skills/requirements:

• Expertise in Python or C++
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a software engineering role or similar
• Experience working in Scrum Based Environment
• A degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or outstanding industry experience
• Strong understanding in one or more technical areas such as mathematics, optimization, linear programming, scheduling, algorithm's and data structures, databases or simulation
• Demonstrated ability in developing web based interfaces
• A mathematics degree is highly regarded in addition to Software Engineering (not essential)

• We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing and contributing to complex products, and working in a team based environment
• Ability to write new code to a high standard, and be responsible for implementing new features to existing products
