Reporting into the Head of Procurement, this Procurement Specialist will partner with key stakeholders across various business units to lead end-to-end strategic procurement process to ensure both commercial and regulatory requirements are met.

The Role
Reporting into the Head of Procurement, this Procurement Specialist will partner with key stakeholders across various business units to lead end-to-end strategic procurement process to ensure both commercial and regulatory requirements are met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive strategic sourcing and cost saving activities for goods and services.
- Deliver successful end to end tender processes within allotted timeframes.
- Guide the business units on the end-to-end procurement process and ensure compliance with internal and external policies and procedures.
- Take a key role in complex negotiations and contract finalisation processes.
- Lead contract performance and strategic relationship management activities to deliver safe, effective, and efficient outcomes for the group.
- Assist in the updating and maintenance of the contract register database.
- Drive positive financial outcomes and win-win situations during negotiations and contract design.
- Support and assist in the improvements of the procurement framework and other business policies and procedures
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience conducting pre-award procurement activities such as supplier sourcing, tendering, evaluations etc.
- Experience understanding, negotiating, and drafting contracts.
- Previous experience working within the financial services industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to build and sustain effective relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously to manage competing priorities.
