About the Role
As a Senior Planner (AO6), you’ll play a key part in delivering strategic and statutory planning outcomes that support housing supply, infrastructure delivery, and economic growth across Queensland. You’ll work on complex planning matters, provide expert advice, and collaborate with stakeholders to help bring major development projects to life.
  
What You’ll Do
  • Provide expert strategic and statutory land use planning advice
  • Assess and analyse complex development applications and planning matters
  • Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams, industry stakeholders, and government partners
  • Support stakeholder engagement and negotiation processes
  • Contribute to planning policy advice and legislative interpretation
  • Foster collaboration and continuous improvement within a multidisciplinary team
  
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong experience in land use planning and relevant legislation/policy
  • Excellent research, analytical, and report writing skills
  • A collaborative, customer-focused approach
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  
Tertiary qualifications in planning or a related field are highly regarded.
