This is a 12-month contract role supporting the payroll function through a period of continued growth and activity. About the Role:
As Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes for a large and diverse workforce. You’ll ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery, support compliance across Awards and EBAs, and collaborate with HR and finance teams to support continuous improvement.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll using SAP for a high-volume employee base
- Ensure compliance with relevant Awards, EBAs, and employment legislation
- Maintain accurate payroll records and perform regular reconciliations
- Support month-end reporting and internal/external audit processes
- Respond to payroll queries and provide guidance to internal stakeholders
- Proven experience as a Senior Payroll Officer or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of SAP payroll systems (essential)
- Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation and EBAs
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
