About the Role:

Troocoo are pleased to be partnering with an industry leading organisation in the resources sector, for the recruitment of their next Senior Payroll Officer. Based in Brisbane’s CBD this role is a two-year fixed-term contract.

This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring compliance with taxation, superannuation, allowances, salary sacrifice, and leave management. If you have a strong payroll background and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role offers the chance to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and efficiently within designated pay cycles.
• Oversee deductions, superannuation contributions, and employee entitlements.
• Ensure compliance with industrial instruments and legislative requirements for leave, overtime, and termination payments.
• Conduct payroll reviews and audits to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Align payroll processes with industrial agreements and contribute to EA negotiations.

About You:

• Extensive payroll experience within a large or complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
