About the role
We are searching for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join this supportive and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join an experienced and growing business and have an immediate impact on a values led team environment. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the Payroll function to successfully deliver Weekly, fortnightly  and monthly pays.
• Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner.
• Preparation of payroll related documents.
• Manage compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
• Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports.
• Accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations.
• Prepare payroll account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate account balances.
• Review and improve payroll policies, procedures and systems.

About you
This position is well suited to a Senior Payroll Specialist who prides themselves on their ability to deliver results. The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a senior payroll processing role with end to end experience. 
• Good knowledge of Payroll regulations including superannuation & PRT. 
• Proven experience working in medium to large organisations. 
• Management of leave reconciliations including long service leave.
• Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management.
