Our client is an instantly recognisable household name with a diverse product offering that has grown to become the leader in their industry. Due to continued expansion in their product offering and associated customer acquisition, they are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join and further develop this growing team in order to provide increased visibility to the organisation through insightful analytics based activity. You will be given an opportunity to work with large data sets on particularly complex and interesting Machine Learning and AI projects.
  
The Role:
  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems and enhance existing products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define machine learning objectives.
  • Collaborate with Software Developers, Data Scientists and Data Engineers
  • Conduct thorough research to identify state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and apply them to real-world scenarios.
  • Optimize and fine-tune machine learning models for performance, accuracy and scalability.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to data and algorithms for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI and related fields
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance your skillset and contribute to the team's growth.
The Successful candidate:
  • 3+ years of experience in machine learning, data science or related fields
  • Experience with Python is essential, as is SQL
  • Experience with Kubernetes is essential
  • Experience with either GCP (preferred) or AWS is essential.
  • Proven credentials within DevOps and Machine Learning are required in order to be successful in this role.
  • An academic background in computer science is desirable
  • Demonstrated clear and thorough logical and analytical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills
