Senior ICT Engagement Officer

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced and proactive ICT Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and improvement of technology systems and services that support schools, educators, and the broader BCE community.
As part of the Engagement Office, you’ll oversee digital product lifecycle planning, user adoption strategies, and continuous improvement – ensuring our technology solutions are not only functional but embraced and impactful.
This role blends technical leadership with stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for someone passionate about using ICT to enhance teaching, learning, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end ICT system lifecycles – from planning to implementation and review
  • Lead digital transformation projects across education and corporate environments
  • Collaborate with school leaders, educators, vendors, and internal teams
  • Develop and execute change management and user training strategies
  • Act as a subject matter expert for key platforms and applications
  • Provide governance support, roadmap design, and service catalogue oversight
  • Champion ICT adoption and digital literacy in a complex, multi-site environment
  • Monitor performance, track outcomes, and deliver meaningful business insights
About You You’re an ICT leader with the ability to balance technical know-how, people-first thinking, and strategic oversight. You understand the challenges of tech delivery in education or multi-site organisations and love creating smooth user experiences.
We're looking for:
  • Proven experience as an ICT/IT Manager or similar leadership role
  • Strong background in systems implementation, service delivery, or digital change
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of ICT governance, infrastructure, and user training
  • Experience in the education sector or public-facing environments (preferred)
  • Familiarity with frameworks like ITIL, PRINCE2, or Agile (desirable)
