This is a pivotal role responsible for delivering strategic HR support, leading special projects, and overseeing compliance and operational excellence. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, manage a team of HR Coordinators, and collaborate closely with the Chief People Officer on transformational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead HR operations, including lifecycle processes, compliance activities, and audit readiness.
- Oversee award rate reviews, WGEA reporting, and cyclical HR initiatives.
- Provide expertise across ER/IR, workforce planning, and HR policy.
- Lead and deliver on HR transformation projects and change management efforts.
- Coach and support a team of HR Coordinators to deliver high-quality service.
- Analyse HR metrics and generate reporting insights to support data-driven decision-making.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a senior HR business partnering role within a complex organisation.
- Strong generalist HR knowledge, including ER/IR, compliance, and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience leading HR operations and managing project-based initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with experience using HR systems (Workday desirable).
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
