Based in Sydney's south, they have been through some positive change over the last 12 months, revolutionizing their accounting practices, systems and structures. They are now looking to bring on board a Senior Financial Accountant to join their organisation to be part of the next phase of corporate evolution.
About the role:
This Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for providing assistance to the Manager with the consolidation and preparation of all internal and external reporting obligations. detailed reconciliations and work collaboratively with both the Australian and US teams.
The Senior Financial Accountant will succeed in this role by processing a high volume of work with minimal supervision, having a can-do attitude, ability to problem solve complex issues and focus on continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Financial Reporting & Financial Analysis.
- Oversee the month-end close process.
- Profit & loss analysis, including trend analysis and cost control advice.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in alignment with the month-end schedule.
- Perform financial analysis and variance reporting,
- Challenge business results.
- Handle tax accounting and compliance, focusing on transfer pricing.
- Support external and internal audit processes and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Maintain controls over financial reporting processes.
- Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
Ideally you will be 2-5 years PQE and have worked in audit or business services. As the Senior Financial Accountant, this is a great chance to develop your Management reporting skills as well as continually improve Financial reporting skills.
