Troocoo Government are partnering with a key QLD State Government client to find an experienced Senior Executive Support Officer (A05) to support their newly appointed Executive Director! This opportunity is a temporary labour hire contract for an initial 6-months, with potential to extend. The role is in the office full-time (5-days onsite) in Brisbane's CBD.
The Role
As the Senior Executive Support Officer you will provide high level support and advice to the Executive Director, while liaising with senior management and senior executives to facilitate administrative matters.

The Role
As the Senior Executive Support Officer you will provide high level support and advice to the Executive Director, while liaising with senior management and senior executives to facilitate administrative matters.
You will be expected to:
- Manage and prioritise workflow allocation, preparation and monitoring of correspondence, briefings, submissions and other documentation.
- Develop, manage, monitor and review correspondence systems to accommodate the demanding environment.
- Develop and evaluate work systems, procedures and guidelines to ensure effective performance and outcomes.
- Coordinate and prioritise incoming correspondence, papers, meeting documentation, reports.
- Oversee diary scheduling and management, including associated booking of meeting facilities, equipment and catering.
- Oversee travel itineraries, arrangements and education & planning days.
- Liaise and effectively communicate (both written and verbal) directly with members of the public, external organisation, personnel at all levels and disciplines within the Department.
A competitive applicant for the Senior Executive Support Officer position would have skills & experience and demonstrated understanding in the following areas:
- Tenured (3-5 years min.) experience within an Executive Support capacity.
- Prior experience supporting an Executive Director would be highly beneficial.
- Previous exposure to QLD State Government would be desirable.
- Prior relevant within the Health or Infrastructure space would be beneficial.
