Senior EUC Engineer

Job description

Troocoo are seeking a skilled and proactive Systems Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This pivotal role bridges day-to-day technical support and strategic ICT projects, delivering high-quality services across infrastructure, applications, and end-user systems.

As a key escalation point, you’ll mentor less experienced team members, improve service delivery, and contribute to advancing operational maturity and systems resilience.

Key Responsibilities of the Systems Engineer (End User Computing) will include:
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex technical issues related to end-user computing, networking, software, and device management.
  • Deliver first-level application support for critical Line of Business systems (e.g., Enterprise Connect, ReadiNow, Jira, Confluence, Zendesk).
  • Manage and maintain both physical and virtual infrastructure across on-premise data centres and public cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
  • Act as a senior escalation resource for the End User Support team.
  • Lead configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of business applications via SCCM and Intune.
  • Support and administer enterprise tools, including Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and mobile device management.
  • Identify and address recurring incidents and systemic issues, contributing to continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver and maintain SOE builds, Group Policy configurations, and automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Mentor junior support staff and contribute to their technical development.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement, integrate, and optimise new technologies.
  • Ensure systems align with cyber security standards and contribute to ongoing improvement of Essential Eight maturity.
  • Participate in project planning, change management, and execution for operational and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience Essential
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Systems Engineer or equivalent Tier 2/3 support role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft stack: Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Office 365.
  • Proficiency in SCCM, Intune, SOE deployment, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience supporting enterprise business applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, including Azure and/or AWS.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Exposure to ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of ICT security best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead technical team members.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting AV and Teams Rooms setups.
  • Knowledge of cyber security standards, especially the Essential Eight.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL).
