A fantastic opportunity is readily available for a Senior End Compute Engineer to join this highly reputable and QLD owned Organisation within the Utilities industry Sector, based in central offices, Brisbane CBD.
The Senior End User Compute Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the clients End User Compute (EUC) and Workplace technology environment.
This role will perform engineering and operations to develop new EUC, Workplace technology solutions and enhance existing EUC and Workplace technology platforms.

The Senior End User Compute Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the clients End User Compute (EUC) and Workplace technology environment.
This role will perform engineering and operations to develop new EUC, Workplace technology solutions and enhance existing EUC and Workplace technology platforms.
Key responsibilities of the Senior End Compute Engineer will include the following;
- Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy to seamlessly move our existing EUC and Workplace technology systems and applications from on-premises to the cloud environment.
- Lead and guide the technical aspects of EUC and Workplace technology platforms dependant projects, providing expertise, best practices, and driving decisions to ensure successful implementation.
- Train and mentor junior Engineers to grow skills within the team and increase the overall capacity of the organisation’s EUC and Workplace technology engineering and operations capability.
To be considered for this role, are seeking a senior level IT professional demonstrating the following key someone with the following skills and experience:
- Experience in developing, implementing and managing EUC and Workplace Technology environments.
- Well-developed capabilities in Citrix Virtual Desktop & Applications, Managed Operating Environment Management, M365 Administration and Identity & Access Management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
- Relevant EUC and Workplace Technology certifications.
