About the Role
Troocoo have been engaged by their Federal Government client to source 3x Senior Desktop Standard Operating Environment Engineer to manage and maintain the Department’s and shared partner agencies desktop Standard Operating Environments including design, configuration, deployment, technical security, and operation of desktop related components.

Primary Technologies
Windows Server, Windows Desktop, Applications Packager, Rapid 7, Broadcom Data Centre Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide third level support for users and managed personal computing devices.
• Provide broad technical support for project build, test and solution deployment activities.
• Monitor, tune and maintain ICT software components and perform system testing.
• Liaise with the infrastructure team in the design, procurement and deployment of hardware and related assets.
• Schedule and perform regular maintenance and updating of supported products.
• Perform technical operations for ICT solutions.
• Maintain technical system information in service tools.
• Perform daily monitoring activities.
• Execute technical change management.
• Prepare a range of technical and corporate documentation.
• Escalate issues that adversely impacts on policy, performance and/or service.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure effective and timely implementation of business solutions.

Key Requirements

• Prior experience in SOE migrations, projects, and implementation.
• Experience with Windows Desktop SOE Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager including SCCM, Intune, Active Directory – Group Policy Management, RBAC, AppLocker and WDA.
