Troocoo is proud to partner with an innovative manufacturing company located in Brisbane's inner-northern suburbs to recruit a Senior Contracts Specialist on a 6-month temporary contract starting in January 2026.
This position is based in Brisbane’s inner northern suburbs, offers 2 days WFH flexibility and a 9-day fortnight.
Reporting to the Supplier and Procurement Manager, the Senior Contract Specialist will be responsible for strategic sourcing activities across predominantly direct spend.

Reporting to the Supplier and Procurement Manager, the Senior Contract Specialist will be responsible for strategic sourcing activities across predominantly direct spend.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with project teams to identify contract needs and develop sourcing strategies.
- Conduct end-to-end tender processes and lead commercial negotiations.
- Execute, draft and award contract agreement.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor performance, address issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the contract lifecycle.
Skills & Experience
- Resources, defence, or heavy industry experience is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing strategic sourcing and tendering activities.
- Applicants who have tertiary qualifications in a legal discipline will be held in high regard
- Excellent knowledge of contract law and risk management.
- Strong skills in interpreting, reviewing and drafting contractual agreements.
- Collaborative approach and solution-focused mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder relationship, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
